Members on the Move – 2026

#1 – Local & Regional Car Events Section

January 10th – TCVCC/AACA member Denny Dahle reports that 5 members of TCVCC/AACA were in attendance at the annual Elks Car Show in Port Saint Lucie on Saturday.  In addition to Denny and his ’51 Ford F-1 pickup, there was Bill & Pat Musto with their 102 year-old 1924 Ford Model T, Fil Ferrauto’s 1980 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, and Ron Goldbacher’s 1933 Dodge 4 Door Sedan.  The show produces a wide variety of vehicles…antique, vintage, classic, muscle, hot rods, sports cars, and more.  Scott Wilson’s 1949 Cadillac took home the top prize.  The slideshow below contains 38 of Denny’s pictures from the event.

#3 – Covid Rebel Cruisers

“Get your motor running, head out on the highway!” – Steppenwolf’s Born to be Wild (1968)

The Cruisers were born out of the inactivity that many car clubs in the Treasure Coast found themselves in during the early days of the Pandemic…no meetings, no cruises, no shows!  So, independent of their clubs, and wanting to drive their classic cars, while adhering to CDC guidelines (easier to do inside a vehicle), various car club members from around the area began scheduling (rebelling?) Saturday cruises to various locations around or near the Treasure Coast Communities.  The destination was usually a restaurant that was open and following CDC guidelines.  Covid Rebel Cruisers would plan out all the details, including a place to rendezvous, before striking out on an interesting drive on the back roads of the area.  Oh yes, there was almost always a stop scheduled at a legendary ice cream parlor to wrap up that day’s cruise!

These Cruises continue even now.  If you’d like to receive information about them, contact TCVCC members Andre Rayman (arayman@aol.com) or Sally Franklin (sfranklin_2000@yahoo.com).

January 1st -The Cruisers wasted no time getting on the road again in 2026, as they cruised out on New Year’s Day to Key West…er, I mean the Key West Diner in Stuart!  Check out the slide show below for a  quick look at the first CRC of the new year.  Then follow the link below the slider to see all the images of this day’s event from member Andre Rayman.
